Traditional stone house on Hydra island, 95 sq meters with private yard. Just 250 m from the port, no steps. The property, due to its layout, is ideal for families as it consists of one master bedroom and one smaller bedroom for kids. It consists of two floors with an internal staircase. On the ground floor there is a yard with garden furniture whereas the interior is an open-plan living room with dining area and kitchen facilities. At the back of the property there is also a small outdoor space with a WC and a washing machine. The internal staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two bedrooms: the master bedroom and one smaller with two single beds. Additionally, there is an extra single bed in the hallway between the two bedrooms. In the upper floor there is also the bathroom with shower.

KaterIna’s perfect authentic spitaki is in an ideal location with no more than 4 steps up (in total) from the port. It has absolutely everything you could need and suited the four of us perfectly. The house is beautifully appointed (including a superb espresso machine) and spotlessly clean. The courtyard with its huge umbrella was where we had all our meals. A terrific Greek restaurant (XERI ELIA DOUSKOS) and a really fantastic Italian restaurant (IL CASTA) are no more than 4 minutes walk. Two supermarkets are 5 minutes in the other direction. Communication from before check-in to the end was faultless. We use AirBnB a lot and this was one of the best. I cannot recommend Katerina’s place highly enough.
Can not say enough about Katerina's lovely home. Absolutely gorgeous traditional island home! We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Close to restaurants and shops with a nice leisurely 3-4 minute beautiful walk to port. Wouldn't change a thing.

This is Katerina, the house host and one of the owners. I am a visual artist working in the animation industry and higher education. After having lived in London for twenty years, I returned to the place that has always been “home” to me in 2016. This is where my sister Kallisti and I grew up and spent our carefree childhood summers. So now our kids can enjoy the same experiences on a vehicle- free, child friendly island. Originally an 18th century traditional stone house, the property has been functionally renovated by our parents to suit contemporary needs while maintaining the allure of the past. Our house is ideal for couples, small groups and especially families as it’s been fully equipped to accommodate babies and young kids. We provide services of the highest quality and hygiene standards so our guests can make the most of their stay while enjoying the homely feeling and use the house as a base to explore the picturesque surroundings of the island. I would be happy to answer any of your queries and assist you further with your visit. Finally, I always look forward to the opportunity of becoming your host.
