The apartments are in small sprawling village 10pm drive form Plitvice Lakes. The number 81 is a bit tricky to find as the numbers in the village don’t go in linear order but almost spiral So you need to drive all the way down village road to almost the end. There is another Zafran guesthouse, with a restaurant, which is Zoran’s brother, that is not the place! Keep driving forth and you will come to Zafran apartments Hosts are super friendly and helpful Gorgeous location, we had a room with balcony overlooking hills and sunset. Super peaceful place. There is a river short walk down the road, and if it isn’t dry, you can swim in it Place is spotlessly clean and there is a communal space with fridge downstairs where you can eat food you bring Tea and coffee making facilities, but you need your own milk. Overall lovely place in beautiful hilly location.

Probably the kindest host any in our group has ever stayed with! He helped drive us back from the park when one of our party had a migraine and took us to get pain medication, picked us up/dropped us off at the bus, did laundry for us (very helpful when we had been hiking for 2 weeks without laundry), provided us with extra food, and more. Truly above and beyond! The room is as pictured, the AC was great, and there is a whole downstairs area not in the pictures that we were able to use with tables, chairs, microwave, water heater, and fridge. Two important notes - first, the wifi barely works in the room, so we had to do all of our work downstairs where it is functional but not great (not strong enough to be on video for calls). Second, the address airbnb gave us was a ways from where this actually is, so make sure to check that. The accommodation is about 5 miles from Entrance 1 at Plitvice or 20 min walk to a free bus that leaves at 9am and returns at 5pm. 20 min walk to a basic market. Overall, fantastic place if you have a car, don't mind being dependent on the bus schedule, and don't need to be on videocalls!

We hebben 2 heerlijke dagen gehad in Zoran’s appartement. Zoran is een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. De locatie is uitstekend wanneer je zoals wij een bezoek aan de Plitvice meren wilt brengen. Slecht 5-10 min met de auto. In de buurt zijn op enkele autominuten rijden diverse restaurants te vinden.
