This was a fantastic home to stay in for our spring break trip to the Outer Banks. The house itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked. The living room/dining room/kitchen main area is large, and our two kids loved all the games and puzzles. (We had many Connect Four tournaments!) The ping pong table under the house and the many books available also kept them entertained. The location itself is great, just a few blocks from the beach, one block to a park and playground, and on a quiet cul de sac. We could walk to a few places to get food (and great coffee and smoothies) and everything else was a short drive away. Wendy was incredibly responsive before and during the trip, and we appreciated her guidebook with restaurant and activity recommendations. Would stay again here in a heartbeat!

This was a favorite for our family. We loved the location- private, yet close to all of the attractions and the beautiful beach. The house was cute and well furnished, but uncluttered. We especially enjoyed playing games in the lower level area (ping pong, etc.).

Whitney's place was super spotless, well-organized (cupboards are labeled), and stylish, and we felt right at home using whatever we needed. The living room sectional is comfortable to lounge on, even for a 7 foot tall man, and while the master bedroom mattress is a bit firmer than our own, we became used to it. There's also a white noise machine that helped lull us to sleep. The shower pressure in the master is lovely after a long day of traveling or exploring. Linens are soft and cozy and the nightstand lamps provide ample light for we bookworms. Speaking of books, there's an eclectic collection of literature that I wholeheartedly enjoyed perusing on rainy days. The surrounding fenced-in yard provided sufficient exercise for two good-sized dogs (50 & 90 lbs), and they loved walking to the beach! The two decks have seating, and if you're a "birder," listen for the Carolina Wren and Yellow Warbler. A great way to wake up with your morning coffee. Highly recommend Saturday House!

Our second time staying! The location is super convenient and walkable to so many things- the grocery, coffee shop, ice cream, acai bowls, the beach, the park, and more while still being private and quiet. Our dog loves sunbathing on the porch and driveway, and all the places we could walk!

Great house in a great location, a block from the beach and not far from restaurants and shopping.
