A well presented, clean and tidy cottage. Short walk to the beach, local shops and eateries. A very good base from which to explore the many castles in the area and the Cinque Ports.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tides Reach. The property was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. Although the cottage is in a quiet area which allowed you to relax at the end of the day - it is in a great location with the beach, castle and town centre within minutes of walking.

We had 5 perfect nights at Tides Reach (2nd-7th May 2023) we arrived early but the guys at keepers cottages were more than happy to let us have the keys - handy with 2 young children and a dog. The cottage it’s self was clean and tidy with everything you could think to need.. lovely selection of games, DVDs and books along with all your usual essentials. Enclosed court yard garden which was safe for the dog and children to play unsupervised was a bonus! Absolutely loved the location.. 10 minute walk along the promenade to town (2 mins from the beech) plenty of bars/eateries to explore. Live music pub on the corner of n.barrack road looked friendly and we had a couple of breakfasts at ‘the goose on the green’ (5 mins walk - and recommended in the welcome pack) Explored Canterbury by bus - again perfect location with bus stop at the end of the rd, 50 minutes single journey to the bus station £2!! Perfect for dog walkers and family’s, nice and quiet in the evenings and easy parking!

All round perfect Easter break. Great location , 15 minutes walk from station and Sainsbury’s and an easy walk along the front onto the heart of Deal. Bus stops at end of the road to Canterbury and Ramsgate if you wan to explore a bit and not drive . Would 100% return again in the summer .
