Paula's place is beautiful and spacious. Paula herself was very pleasant and responsive. I was asked to pay an extra 60 mil pesos cleaning fee in addition to cleaning fee I was paying through Airbnb which I thought odd but I agreed since it was a last minute rental. When we arrived the maid greeted us and was very friendly and polite. I paid her the extra 60 mil as we got settled in. I learned the maid was living in a room behind the kitchen and would be sleeping there during our stay. She was very nice but all of us agreed it was uncomfortable and several commented they felt like they were being watched/monitored. Also, I found it odd I needed to make my own bed? The next day the maid told me I needed to pay her ANOTHER 60 mil cleaning fee! I adamantly refused. I spoke to Paula who told me my OVERNIGHT stay included 2 days, therefore 2 fees. I adamantly refused and she politely agreed to drop the second fee. A sad ending. Great potential but lose the live-in maid. It's uncomfortable.
