This place is just as described and so much more! I stayed for 17 days with my two daughters. It was safe and the neighbors are friendly and welcoming. We came as strangers and left with new family members. John P, Libe, and Justin are so welcoming and quick to tell you about all the wonderful and beautiful things to see in the area. From visiting a 60-year old icecream shop at the center of Barceloneta to swimming at a secluded beach to surf lessons and turtle sightings, there is so much to do if you are open to exploring and adventure. We mainly stayed within a 30 minute range, enjoyed coco frios on the way to Arecibo, and ventured to Celebra Island one Sunday. A rental car is necessary. Walmart is within a 10 minute drive. For those who did not like lack of windows, once you feel the PR sun, you'll quickly appreciate how cool this apartment stays and you'll sleep like a baby. Please come and respect the beach, respect the neighbors, and learn some Spanish! A true gem!
