House has spacious rooms perfect for large families/groups. The location is great, not too far from anything and end of the road makes for a quiet relaxing place. However, the listing states Central Air Conditioning, please know that it is only available on the top floor, the other two levels were very hot and uncomfortable. There were beds with broken frames or the box springs were so worn out that it caused the mattresses to sink in the middle. There were no lights that worked in the lower level. Clean is not how I would describe the house. Stove, counters and dinner table were dirty.on arrival. The furniture hasn’t been moved and cleaned under for a very long time. All the couches are recliners, so the dirt was very obvious when recliners were open. No instructions on TV function are included-only thing we could get to work was Netflix, but it was a very old version so newest releases were not available. There are ample towels, toilet paper and soap.

We were not informed that there was not WiFi until we got there. I’m 2021 you’d think that was a provided everywhere. Especially when my total for 3 nights was over $3000 dollars. That wouldn’t have been so bad if I had regular cell service, but I did not. That is definitely something that I needed to know as I still had business to conduct. Had I known this, I would have never rented this property. Because of this lack of information, I had to spend much of my time away from my family in different areas of garden city to get service. The drain in the bathtub was clogged and made taking showers down there a nightmare. The bathroom by the laundry room smelled of strong urine. And an almost $500 cleaning fee! And almost $1000 a night for ZERO amenities. That’s absurd. Also, bedding is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I’d compare the quality to bedding I’ve seen at goodwill. Not impressed at all. It should have been mentioned in the listing details that we need to not only bring our own hotspot, but our own bedding as well. And let us not forget the two drops of liquid soap that was provided in each bathroom. Also, there are TVs with Netflix and Amazon prime capabilities, but no WiFi, and no cable. So they provided several scratched dvds that didn’t even work. The kids had no entertainment. I would not rent this unit again. Ever.

Great location and great value

The cabin is in a nice area of Garden City. We really liked having nice hand soap (Mrs. Meyers brand) and enough furniture to accommodate a large group. We did not like the very early check-out, and when we requested a couple extra hours (we were traveling with little kids), which would allow us to check out at noon, the answer we got was NO due to COVID-19. They said they needed extra time to clean the cabin. Well, there was no one scheduled to be in the cabin the Sunday we left, we did not receive the cabin "squeaky clean" (there were dead bugs all over the floor and a huge live spider in the basement bathroom's sink) and we left the cabin very clean - garbage was removed, dishes were left washing in the dishwasher and kitchen was clean (stove and all). We will avoid renting another home or property managed by this company, due solely to their "NO LATE CHECK-OUT POLICY". This was the first time we have been declined a late check-out and actually told, in a condescending way "to wake up 2 hours earlier". The cabin was fine, the management by "VACASA" was not nice. I do not recommend VACASA.
