Staying in Anna’s place was a highlight of our trip to Sicily. The house is located amongst vineyards and rolling hills. It is very quiet as there are virtually no other houses nearby and nearest shop is some minutes drive away. But oh boy, it is so beautiful! The house is tastefully decorated, filled with lovely kilim rugs and vintage furnitures. It is spacious, fully equipped with everything you may need and Anna has left some supplies for us in the kitchen- local cheese, wine, bread and other necessities. We loved spending time on the balcony and had most of our meals there. Anna’s three little kittens were keeping us company. You can reach beaches and pretty towns by car within an hour and because the house is right in the middle of the island both coasts, north and south, are accessible. Anna is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home in her place. This was the best place I have rented through Airbnb so far! Truly a hidden gem ❤️ Thank you, Anna.

La maison d'Anna est magnifique, décorée avec goût, au milieu des vignes. Comme indiqué dans les commentaires précédents nous avons été très bien accueillis malgré l'heure tardive. Anna avait mis à notre disposition des produits frais au frigo (beurre, lait, yaourts, fromage, boissons sucrées, saucisson), nous avions aussi des pâtes, biscuits, pain de mie, bouteilles d'eau... et un panier de légumes du jardin. Excellent accueil. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour en Sicile.

We loved our stay at Anna’s farm. Everything was very thoughtfully considered, including some supplies to cook with on arrival. We enjoyed day trips out to the surrounding area and enjoyed cooking on the evening and relaxing on the balcony. Anna was very responsive and also a very relaxed and kind host. Thank you very much.

Über den Aufenthalt in Annas Landhaus kann ich nur das beste berichten. Das liegt sehr günstig zwischen Palermo und Sciacca und wenn man Westsizilien erkunden möchte, ist es der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn, man befindet sich inmitten der Natur in vollkommener Ruhe (auch die nahe Straße ist nicht zu hören). Die Wohnung selbst ist mit sehr schönen alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Ein Highlight ist die Terrasse mit Blick auf die Weinberge. Die Kommunikation mit Anna war großartig, sie hat uns mit einem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank versorgt. Es war zudem sehr großzügig, dass wir später auschecken konnten, da wir eine späte Fähre für die Weiterfahrt gebucht hatten. Herzlichen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

Anna was very helpful and so generous providing us with delicious snacks and items to cook with. She was always available for anything we might have needed but gave us privacy. We fell completely in love with her sweet dog, Gas❤️ If you choose to stay with Anna please give Gas lots of love - she is a very nervous dog but loves humans. As animal lovers we were quite sad to see that dogs are not given much affection and love in some areas of Sicily and are quite neglected. We really enjoyed Anna’s place and loved being in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, it was so special and peaceful. Thank you so much Anna.
