We had the most wonderful weekend at The Comb for my sister’s hen weekend! It was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous location and felt very luxurious!

We all had a great time, a beautiful place perfect for our family get together. There is so much space! 15 of us & 3 dogs it could not have been better. The setting of the Comb is stunning, lovely walks, peaceful ideal for a weekend get away from it all. Only disappointment was we had planned to have a barbecue but were unable to use the one provided. Thank you so much we would love to return.

The perfect accommodation for a large crowd of friends or family. Plenty to explore outside but with a great bar to socialize around indoors as well. Plenty of seating for everyone without being crowded including a dining table that seats 26. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking for a large crowd. The bedrooms are all spacious and en suite with comfy beds. This was the perfect place to celebrate a 50th birthday weekend and everyone including the kids had a great time. We’d book again happily!

Booked The Comb Reivers for a family get together in February so we knew it would be cold but although main house was not too bad but the outer bedroom’s were not heated and very cold! We were informed to locate thermostat and turn up which we did but unfortunately this didn’t work as must have somehow been overridden ? Anyway bedrooms on the whole were nice and comfortable with most having en-suite facilities! Décor generally tired and in need of update as are windows which were mostly failed and condensed! No washing machine or tumbler which is necessary particularly when children in group! No logs for log burner? We knew the location was remote and had brought games etc there are books and some games at property.

The Comb is stunning. We stayed over Christmas and the house was perfect for our large family gathering. There is so much space you never feel on top of each other. The bedrooms are beautiful and all en-suite. The main living space and bar provided a fabulous place for us all to congregate. The kitchen is well laid out and the 2 dishwashers were appreciated. The house has everything you could possibly need. The grounds and views are amazing and the host was responsive and really helpful.
