I had such a good time at Louise's. She arranged for me to have a early check in and the place was clean and spotless. I enjoyed my time as the area is peaceful especially sitting outside on the patio. The place felt very private even though Louise lives in the same compound. Louise and Gavin are also very friendly, they accommodated my request to have quite number of guests over for lunch and also helped me with the preparation checking to make sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely be staying there again. Definitely value for money, I wanted to extend for longer unfortunately the place was already booked. The one thing I would change is due to the very hot weather, I would recommend a fan or AC in the lounge.

This place exceeded my expectations. my favorite thing is how well equipped the place was: the basic kitchen necessities like oil, tea, coffee, milk, etc. a working iron and board, broom, etc. very warm extra blankets too and so much more. A cozy place that I'd definitely recommend for winter... for the very hot summer days, there's a private outside sitting area with a braai stand. Designed well & classy and with much attention to detail. The neighborhood felt safe enough to walk even in the evenings and away from the busy life with so much peace and quiet. There's a little shopping complex around too and Montecasino & Fourways Mall being not so far away. My introverted self was more than happy with the smooth check in and out process with very clear instructions. Louis was a welcoming and responsive host. This was the easiest AirBnB experience I've ever had, I really can't complain even if I tried hard to find fault.
A peaceful home in a green garden. Louise & Gavin are pleasant & hospitable hosts, who are always ready to assist their guests. Information & updates from Louise were very useful & timely. Their house is in my recommended list now.

Quiet and safe suburb with access control.
The neighbourhood provides a full spectrum of nightlife, restaurants and entertainment in a beautiful, tranquil and safe setting.
Lying slightly uphill from Sunninghill, on the other side of the N1 from Petervale and Rivonia. Paulshof is a modern, upmarket suburb lying just above the Braamfontein Spruit. Paulshof is often described as the 'garden village of the North' and indeed, it isn't unusual for the family dog to have a run-in with a prickly porcupine when out on a daily stroll!
Children of Paulshof celebrate halloween on the streets of the suburb and people can be seen walking their dogs or excircising all hours of the day through the beautiful park areas.
Paulshof residents have taken it upon themselves to recycle and they make a concerted effort to maintain their section of the Braamfontein Spruit. Paulshof lies in a particularly green part of the city, sandwiched between the spruit and Rietfontein Ridge. Its northern quarters are flanked by open land, giving Paulshof a distinct country flavour.
Paulshof is great for getting around and for doing things over weekends. Access to the N1 and N3 is excellent, Fourways and Sandton are easily reached, in fact many executives and families make Paulshof their base because of this, whilst Midrand is also easy to reach from here.
Weekends one can amuse oneself at numerous large shopping malls, or head out to the 'country' - north west of here lie the Cradle of Humankind and the Magaliesberg.
Uber operates throughout Johannesburg.
