This was our 3rd trip to Bequia and the 4th place we have rented. Each had pros & cons. Cons are similar to anywhere in Bequia (steep hills, water pressure/scarcity, barking dogs). Pros of this location far outweigh and include value for price, central location, proximity to dollar buses, walking distance to beaches and restaurants, corner store steps away, driveway easy to find, all the appliances you need to cook your own meals (including large lobster pot and leftover containers), high elevation for consistent breezes/cooling, great place to watch local community buzz, friendly people everywhere and safe (as always!), beautiful little geckos peaking around back and covered deck, Elrita is wonderful and seconds away if anything needed, fruit and veg stand pop up at the bottom of the driveway, great view, excellent wifi, various mattress/bed options, responsive and communicative host, and a lovely gardener, Hilda, who thoughtfully brought us fresh coconuts on her second visit. 👍👍

Lovely apartment with huge terrace that has a stunning view of the sea. Beverley was really easy to contact and flexible with check in/out times. The kitchen was superbly stocked with all appliances and utensils you could ever need. The driveway is very typical of Bequia in that it’s narrow and has tight corners so I’d recommend walking up to the apartment if you drive a large vehicle - we did see a little land turtle on the driveway one day! Would absolutely stay again, great value for money ☺️

Beverley’s place was very nice. The location was right down the street from both Princess Margaret and Lower Bay Beach. The house is at the top of a steep hill, but the view from the front porch is exceptionally beautiful, well worth the climb. The house was clean and we felt very at home. The only bad thing is that the shower has very low pressure since the house runs off rain water. Overall, the house was great and well with the price for the view and the location. We will be coming back!

Our stay at Beverley's place was truly wonderful! Elrita was such a great help and we found the view spectacular! We could walk easily to three gorgeous beaches. People were incredibly friendly. Beverley was completely helpful and prompt at all times. I feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful place!!!

Beverly's home was located up on a hill overlooking Friendship bay with amazing views. The house was large, airy and had a very well equipped kitchen. There was no air conditioning, but didn't miss it with the constant cooling breezes. Bring mosquito repellent as there are some mosquitoes at night. The only drawback for my husband (has difficulty walking) was the steep long driveway and stairs to get to the house. He did manage to walk it with his hiking sticks, but was a challenge. The plus for getting around the island was that Lency (our taxi driver) picked us up at the stairs. Also, you can catch a dollar bus at the end of the driveway. Bequia is our favorite island of the Grenadines. Highlights was spending a day at the historic Sugar Reef hotel, eating a delicious lunch, swimming at their beach, and taking walks to the Turtle Sanctuary and through the countryside. Another highlite was walking the waterfront trail from Port Elizabeth to Princess Margaret beach. Also difficult for my husband but doable. There are lots of restaurants along the way to stop and eat, have a drink and admire the beauty of Bequia.
