Such a cosy wee home! We loved our short stay, it was a home away from home and we had everything we needed. Louise was great at communicating about the check in and kindly had the heat pump on so we walked into a warm house on a dreary day. The cottage is in a great location, close to town and close to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Home from Home. I stayed here during the first two weeks of lockdown for the covid-19 outbreak. What a fantastic place and a wonderful host. Everything is as advertised. The photos are exactly as it is. The house is incredibly clean, warm and safe. Facilities are spot on with a brilliant shower, constant hot water and great pressure. The cooking facilities work perfectly. Constant WiFi with a strong signal. The bed is super comfy. It is a quiet neighbourhood so no problems with noise at night and I felt safe there. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Unfortunately these were all closed whilst I was there due to the lockdown but when open I imagine they are all great places to go. Countdown and pak n save within a 5-10 minute walk. The host, Louise, did so much for me to help me settle after flights home were cancelled and helped me throughout the time I was there. Such an incredible person who I can’t thank enough. I describe this place as home from home and I would 100% recommend to stay here and when I am back in NZ, I will be coming back.

After a long flight from the UK, I stayed over at Louise's for two nights. Louise was very welcoming and the perfect host. It was the small personal touches which made a difference such as leaving an NZ adaptor in the room and providing guidance on where to visit in NZ. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Also I had a good sleep and a hot shower. I recommend Louise's home to anyone who is looking for a short stop-over in Christchurch.

Louise rocks. Pretty much all there is to say! Her place is lovely, close to airport and downtown. I’m really glad that I got the chance to stay here!
