Had a great girls weekend planned and thought the Tipi would be a great adventure. It did just that! Definitely unique place! Kyra suggested a hike for us along the river there in Hot Springs and was so pretty. Marshall was very small but so quaint, good eateries and everyone was friendly. trip was very laid back and relaxing. Good times!!!
This was the most magical place to stay with my husband and three young children (8, 6, & 3). We slept great and loved having smores and playing charades around the campfire. We'll be back!

I wanted to try out a unique place to stay for a night. It was pretty neat. I was glad that I had some service on my phone because it wouldn’t find the wifi. Apple Maps brought me straight to the place, so that was also a plus because I was afraid I would lose service. The surroundings were pretty & the moonlight shining in the little windows were cool. I’ll never forget the stay. Oh yeah, the warm water in the shower lasted maybe like 7 minutes. I wish I knew it was only going to last that long because I would’ve tried to be faster. Just a heads up!

I’m a mother of 6, currently living in Ormond beach Florida! My fiancé and I host the tipi on our North Carolina property after camping there many weeks upon purchasing. Dan is the architect carpenter and muscles behind the project and definitely deserves all the credit (along with friends and family we dragged to help along the way!) . We absolutely love going there with our kids, and are now building a home at the top of the mountain. Homeschooling this year, and always looking forward to what the future holds! We love trying new things and exploring places, enriching the kids minds, as well as our own! I absolutely love the idea of Airbnb and sharing spaces, especially ones we love so much, for other people to have experiences in!
