When we arrived the neighborhood was less than inviting. Upon entry, the front door of the unit was wide open with a Sheriff’s department card in it. It was 50 degrees in the unit and the batteries in the thermostat were dead so we had to go out and buy our own. When I messaged the host he said someone was on the way but from there did not respond until later that evening. We sat and waited but were not met. The second bed, aka futon and comforter (as advertised) smelled like they had not been washed. There were also holes in the glass at the front door which looked like bullet holes that were covered with another pane. The host said that the sheriff’s department was looking for someone who used to live there and that the glass was “ordered”. Overall, we are low maintenance travelers so with locking the doors and having a couple drinks felt fine. The location was great in reference to the city but this one is rather lack luster. Certainly not worth the $122 it cost to stay the night.

The house was neat and some amenities were supplied. The house was a bit smaller than expected but seeing as we didn't spend much time in the house we didn't mind. All in all a decent place to stay

Great place! Easy to get into, very walkable area within the city, and pretty nice area!
