Perfect couple of nights in the beautiful shepards hut. Just the spot we needed to rest and recover after competition up the road at the equestrian centre. We were also very fond of the little cat !! We will definitely stop again for future shows. The old thatch pub in the village is super too b

Lovely location, overlooking farmland…Shepherd’s hut was kept spotless, brilliant communication …ideal for late checkin, as we checked in late, and was met by a friendly cat that showed us the way.

Phillips shepherds hut is lovely! There is a good amount of space and it’s very cute. We loved how the bed folded down and there was a kitchen and bathroom all in a small hut. There was even a cat who showed us to our room (hah!) who lives on the farm - we affectionately named her Gillian. The hut is located next to a field with sheep in, the sunsets were pretty and it felt private. You can hear the road but it didn’t keep us up at all. All in all it was a great getaway and we would definitely like to return if we’re in the area :) thanks Phillip!
