This is one of the most comfortable and well outfitted places we’ve stayed. Thoughtfully supplied and *full* kitchen — even the knives were sharp! Very unusual for Airbnb. Getting to and from the island with our luggage was easy. Quietly friendly place for a couple or family. Lovely walks to be had on Little Cranberry Island, and easy access by ferry to Mount Desert Island for hiking etc. A perfect place to blissfully disconnect, get some R&R and enjoy time outdoors in a truly special place. We will be returning.

We had a lovely time visiting Islesford and Acadia. If slowing down, being more present and feeling more at peace is your idea of vacation, then this cottage should be your next destination. The cottage is well appointed for making all kinds of memories and the island has friendly people, amazing views and a unique atmosphere. Oh and Jeri and Ted are just fabulous! Two things to note: 1) if you have t mobile, you won't have service unless you are on the mainland. 2) if you plan to go back and forth between Islesford and the mainland multiple times during your visit, taking the ferry will get costly. But neither of those things should stop you from enjoying a retreat in Islesford.

It was so quiet and peaceful. It was wonderful to relax and read a few books of your own or a few they had on the shelf. Enjoyed walking down to the dock and taking the ferry. It was nice to see all the stars as well. Just a perfect little place to relax. House was very clean and felt like home.

Ted and Jerry are very very nice people. Their home was in a location where it was quiet peaceful and you will never get an island that is so beautiful laid-back and just one of a kind.

My husband and I are super familiar with Islesford and were thrilled to rent a place where we could connect with old friends and spend a week exploring the island again with our two young sons. The garden cottage was the best place for us! Jeri welcomed us with homemade apple cake! The cottage was on a friendly neighborhood road, a perfect place to walk to where we needed to go and for our boys to ride their bikes or play outside. The gas grill was a nice amenity as were the two decks. The apple tree had the very best apples that were in season and ripe early! Inside was super clean and comfortable. We read lots of books, played with many toys, enjoyed great naps and big sleeps upstairs in the bedrooms. The fans were helpful and the curtains let in the perfect amount of filtered light through the trees. We had a magical week and would rent from Ted and Jeri again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
