All in all we really enjoyed the unit and location. The living quarters is tight but the weather was fantastic and we were outside every day so that didn't matter much. The lakefront can't be beat, its a fantastic spot. The parking is a challenge but not much can be done about that. It would be nice if there was a dishwasher for convenience. We would go back.
The parking pad was somewhat difficult to get into, with a sand/gravel base. We had an SUV which made it easier. The decks are lovely and the view was lovely. Swimming off the dock was enjoyable.
We were locked out after arriving late, which wasn’t ideal. But our main criticism was how inflexible and “robotic” it was to communicate with them before we arrived. Felt like calling a multi-national customer service department. In fact, I got 10000% better response when I took my overall concerns (too many to list) directly to Airbnb, who were prompt and human and understanding and helpful. I would definitely not recommend Vacasa to any hosts looking to have them manage your property, and I will never rent from a Vacasa property again.
