Located on the right bank of Douro River, in the centre of Pinhão village, Turismo Douro-Pinhão/Alojamento Temporario offers self-catering villas in a natural setting. One Bedroom with a double bed and sofa bed with two single beds. The 1st floor of the villas at Pinhão have access to a terrace where guests can sunbathe and shower afterwards. Some villas offer river and mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare their meals and enjoy them outdoors, when the weather is warmer. Alternatively, the nearby restaurants offer traditional cuisine. Guests can enjoy hiking tours with professional guides, a tour in a typical Rabelo boat along the Douro River, and a wine tasting session. Guests can explore the 19th-century Pinhão Train Station with Portuguese tiles, depicting scenes of the everyday life, and head to a bar or coffee to taste a Port wine. Peso da Régua is 27 minutes’ driving and Vila Real is within 40 km.

Good location for exploring the Douro Valley.
Maria et son gendre Pedro sont vraiment des hôtes accueillants, qui cherchent à rendre notre séjour parfait. Nous avons adoré la communication avec eux. Le logement est bien situé à Pinhão, très calme. La literie est excellente (lit 160). La douche dans la salle de bain est un peu petite, l'eau y est bien chaude. La cuisine est très sommaire, il y a très peu d'ustensiles pour cuisiner (casseroles par exemple). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Pinhão.

The apartment is small, neglected and was a bit smelly. Location was nice and Fernando gave us an excellent recommendations. Also he surprised us with a very nice breakfast. Overall it is an ok place for one night.
These are very centrally located apartments and very reasonably priced for Pinhao but if you can’t do stairs you can’t stay here. If you can do stairs, but are worried about luggage don’t be. The always helpful, ever cheerful, and seemingly available 24/7 Pedro will whisk your luggage up and down in a flash. The apartments are as described. The two on top are nicer than the three on the bottom level. The AC and Wi-Fi are both good. The daily breakfast basket along with the coffee, milk and juice provided is more than enough to get the day started. Parking is on the street. I had no problem finding a spot about two minutes away on a busy Sunday afternoon in may and even closer spots on weekdays. At the height of the tourist season you may have to park a bit further away

Pinhão, as Unesco World Heritage Site, has indescribable beauties. Can be made visits to wineries, wine tasting, hiking, exploring nature, boat tours, lookouts,or just relax and enjoy the magnificent views of the Douro Valley.
In nearby villages with easy access there are also tourist attractions as museums and monuments.
