Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, nichts hat gefehlt. Es gibt Internet, Spiele und DVD für Groß und Klein sowie einen geschlossenen Garten und Hunde sind willkommen. Einfach super!

We felt a serene sence of comfort and ease, the moment we plonked ourselves down on the comfy sofas and put the Kettle on. It was easy to let the mind wander back 300 years and more and romanticise of times gone by. A super cottage perhaps, for someone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the 21st century and all the ills it has brought with it. Anyone staying in this glorious cottage won't be disappointed. My wife and I were genuinely saddened to shut the door and turn the lock for the final time.

Fantastic cottage with all amenities provided. Our Christmas stay was delightful next to a cozy fireplace. The hosts added some charming Christmas lights and were incredibly responsive. Local walks added to the overall enjoyment. Thoroughly recommend a getaway stay here.

We had a wonderful experience at this cosy and charming cottage. It had thick walls (which may be why it stayed warm so well) and wooden beams and a fabulous wood burner. The garden was lovely and it was great that we could spend some time out there, between bursts of rain. The only unexpected thing that was a slight issue for me was the hand-held shower so if you have difficulty getting in and out of a bath, then this could be an issue, but the water pressure was amazing and there were plenty of mod cons in every other way. It was a treat to be somewhere that we could relax in peace in an atmosphere that was warm and welcoming (and good value for money). The town had just the right amount of restaurants, pubs and shops, just a few minutes’ walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Well stocked kitchen implements, pleased as basics and handier cheese slicer, good chopping board, salt pepper, coffee ground and instant to use.
