Betsy & Arts place is a quiet, peaceful place near Black Mountain and several historical coal related attractions. We enjoyed the nearby stream and covered patio. The owners live in the basement apartment downstairs, and guests have access to the top/main floor. The space was clean and comfortable. It has a “staying with family” feel, complete with family photos, mementos and everything we may have needed to cook a meal.
Honestly, this is one of the best homes I've ever stayed in. It was very beautiful, spacious, and clean. The area is very beautiful and anything you might need is close enough. Betsy was right there for any questions and to help with anything we might have needed. Our entire group would recommend this 100% for anyone. Thank you so much and we hope to see you again soon.

It was a whole lot more than what we expected! I could not have been happier to find such great hosts! The view from the back of house was absolutely gorgeous!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Hi, we love to host guests at our mountain getaway. In our wonderful mountain home, you'll find a peaceful atmosphere, lots of books in every room, and comfortable spaces. That's just indoors. Then, there are the glorious trails, streams, and lakes of the outdoors. Betsy moved here to shine a light on the beauty and opportunities in the awesome mountains of eastern Kentucky. Since Betsy and Art married, we are usually in our Ohio home, and our Lynch neighbors Dave & DeRhonda are helping out at Tranquility.
