Overall the cabin was comfortable and cozy, and was a great location for exploring the Redwoods. The market/restaurant next door was super convenient for grabbing snacks, etc. Only issue we encountered was that the power went out for a couple days during our stay due to electrical work in the area, but this was out of the host's control and we appreciated Sharon's proactive communication about the situation and when to expect the power to come back on.
It was really nice. Met others staying with Sharon around the campfire. Really nice.
Super cute, little private cabin perfectly located between both the coastal redwood SPs I wanted to visit. Convenient restaurant and store, also managed by Sharon and her crew, onsite (less than 50ft from my cabin) offering good food and friendly service. I've already recommended this cute place to friends and I'd certainly stay here again!
Clean, good location in regards to being central but it is literally right off the highway
Reasonably comfortable accomm but very near busy road . Cabin spears bigger on photos than reality. Shame no TV and longer restaurant opening hours.

I am originally a LA girl, born and raised, who never thought I would live anywhere else. However, never say NEVER! I have been in Klamath for the past 16 years since I came up here and fell in love with it. It truly speaks to my soul. I have approximately 8 acres here and feel like I have been entrusted with the stewardship of this property (who could possibly "own" a Redwood?) I love people and love to cook, so I have the best of both worlds by having a small market and restaurant ("A Good Place to Eat") on the property. The name of the restaurant is my homage to Abbott and Costello's "Who's On First?"...Yes, I'm that old! The restaurant allows me to share two of my passions, people and cooking! I call it speed-dating with friends. The way I see it is that my "job" is to be part of your memories. As I get older, I realize that life isn't about your "stuff", it's all about the "remember whens?". And, if one of those memories includes me and Woodland Villa, I'll consider that a job well done.
