Beautiful old home. Mary and Pete were wonderful hosts. Very personable, friendly and always available to help or answer any questions we had. The bathroom had everything you could possibly want or need. Our room was tastefully decorated and seemed more like a studio apartment. The coffee and tea bar outside our door was very nice. We were there to visit family that lived in different areas and towns. The Belton House is convenient to Anderson, Williamston, Abbeville and Honea Path. We did not mind going up and down stairs to the bathroom and we are senior citizens. We viewed it as exercise! We hope to visit again.
This was our second stay at Mary and Pete’s place and it was as great as the first one. The beds are comfortable, the space is very roomy and clean, and the hosts are very friendly! We felt right at home again.
Perfect! Could not have asked for anything more, very clean, easy to check in, comfortable bed and plenty of space. All needed amenities were very convenient, easy parking. Thanks for a great stay!

The weekend had only a few bright spots, and one was the house and the hosts. They had everything ready, well-stocked and clean. And Pete and Mary were warm, sociable folks.

Pete and I are licensed SC Realtors. AARP 2022 listed Anderson, SC, as one of nine great places to retire and live. If you are coming to Anderson, SC, to look for a forever home; we would love to help you do that. Or even a second home on the lake. We both love to travel, meet new people from all walks of life as well as spending time with family and friends. We love to cook, bake and make preserves with the fruit we have available on our property, figs, wild blackberries and pecans. Our life’s motto is 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'
