This property is a great place to stay, for anybody even moderately into nature and simple living. The land is full of interesting features in addition to the waterfall. Our kids loved the bramble patches! The house itself is incredible, from the impressive off-grid amenities, to the nice floors and cool staircase, It demands respect and appreciation! It’s also well stocked with the basic utensils, spices, bedding, linens, etc. Great communication and responsiveness from the hosts who make you feel really comfortable and welcome. The surrounding community is great too, from Equinunk to Calicoon, we got out a good bit. The futon could be more comfortable, so if you have one handy, a foam topper or egg crate could do the trick. In all, we had a great stay, and would definitely recommend Adam and Karen’s place to family and friends. Hopefully we’ll come back someday ourselves!

Good Morning! My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Adam and Karen's place. The Tiny House was super cute, and we both enjoyed the waterfall. Everything was well laid out, labeled, and had great instructions. IT was well decorated, and the woods around it was beautiful. At night, it is so dark you can really see the stars... It is stunning! IF you want to go stargazing, turn off all the nights about an hour before dark. That way, your eyes are adjusting. IT is crazy how many stars are in the sky that we just cannot see at home. My husband and I loved the wooded area around the house. We took walks daily, and they even had a little map in the guidebook! The Yoga/Tent platform was great <3. We explored Bethel Woods--(Woodstock 69 festival grounds) and Callicoon. There are two negatives. The futon is VERY uncomfortable. I would suggest bringing a really thick blanket to use if you need to use that as a bed. There are two beds upstairs and the tent, so you may not need to use it, but it is really uncomfortable if you do. The shower inside the house is tiny. If you need more space ( i am plus sized ), go use the shower outside. It is super awesome. I would definitely recommend this mountain retreat. It was a great place to celebrate our 20th anniversary!

Very cool tiny house! The house is super clean and cozy. We had so much fun exploring the waterfall and the hiking trails around the property. Hosts were very helpful when i had few questions.
