Great place with great view on the ocean with the sunset, highly recommended. The apartment itself is spacious, will perfectly fit 4 people. You will find everything you need for the cooking on the kitchen. There are several supermarkets at the walking distance, 15-20 minutes to the beach or city center. But we had issue with check in. The time for check in is 16 00, we have arrived at that exact time, once we have finally found the locker with the key, it didn't open. We have spent around 20 minutes communicating with the host without any result. Finally we've heard some noise coming from the door, ringed it and turned out there was a guy from cleaning service inside with a bag of weed on the table, who told that he expected us to come the next day and apartment is not ready. We had to wait until 20 00 once the cleaning was finished. We have booked apartment for 1 week, but we have run out of the toilet paper dishwashing machines capsules in 2 days. One of the toilets wasn't working.

Spacious accommodation, which was well stocked, in a good location and with phenomenal views. Parking, pool and balcony are a great bonus. Walk to the centre was easy and took about 10/15 mins. I would say it's a lovely apartment, but not a luxury apartment. It could do with a bit of a refurb in place, especially the bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom had a toilet that was broken, when we arrived it had tape over the seat and flush. I notified the host, who didn't seem to be aware and said they'd get their team on it. We didn't hear from them again about it, but I also didn't bother to chase, as I was on holiday. In this bathroom and in the bedroom you could see where they've been trying to keep mould off the ceilings and the rooms smelt of it also. We stayed for two weeks so this built up despite our best efforts to air the room. The other bathroom had a funny little shower, which we didn't manage to get the water temp right on, but that could have been user error, as we only tried once

The location was fantastic (a bit away from the center which made it peaceful but still easily accessible with a safe box/parking for the car). The view from the balcony was worth the price. Only drawback would be about the state of the cutlery - which feels like you are back in time - and the general cleanliness of the place (could have been a tad more clean).

Very spacious apartment equipped with everything necessary, we are traveling with two small kids and felt very comfortable! Building is located on the hill, a bit of workout to get up from the downtown or from the beach) but we don’t mind)) spectacular view from the windows and terrace are compensating that many times)) A bit of uncomfortable humidity and smell in the apartment, but as we learned this is the specific of local climate, and there is not much to be done but to be prepared. In general very satisfied with the experience! Thanks a lot for your hospitality and well managed accommodation!

I would have given the apartment a higher evaluation except our experience was tainted from the beginning. I had asked the host to provide check-in instructions in advance. All of our other hosts on the trip were happy to do so. In this case, the host declined and we didn't get them until the day of or before we were checking in. We were arriving from San Francisco and had been up 24 hours by the time we arrived in Lisbon, got our car and drove to Ericeira. This was a self check in and I was on the phone 3 or 4 different times with the host trying to find the place, locate the entry codes, find the lockbox key etc. Having this information up front would have saved a great amount of frustration and aggravation on all of our parts. The apartment was well stocked in some respects and not so in others. For example, the bathroom should have a waste receptacle. Also, I would suggest containers be labeled. It was hard to determine what was shampoo vs. conditioner vs. soap, dish washing liquid vs laundry detergent, etc. Finally, not the host's fault but there is a dog across the street that barks all day and into the night every day. Every time some passes on the street which is constant. Makes it tough to open a window. Since the AC doesn't work, i.e., 16C is no different from 22C, the AC essentially just blows air, it's nice to have some airflow. On a more positive note, the neighbors were quiet and the unit was very clean.
