Natural retreats is working with us to make things right but I need to warn you about this cabin. We could not find reviews after 2019. Our original cain had a water leak and after a few hours of having nowhere to stay they found us this cabin. When we went to check in, there were maintenance trucks out front... this should have been a red flag. The cabin may or may not be unoccupied for long periods at a time. The windows are so dirty. So dirty it is hard to enjoy the view through them. Everything needs dusted. Furniture and carpet is rough. like big holes in the couch cushions rough. carpet tack strip had to be removed because there wasnt carpet over it any longer in a doorway. There are bees eating away at the outside of the cabin and there are holes and wood dust falling as you stand and watch. Apparently wood peckers are an issue as they try and get to the bee larvae too but we didn't have bird issues. Little ones on the back deck are an issue because the spindles are not in place and a child could easily fall off of the deck. There needs to be a thorough cleaning of showers! They aren't terrible but mold is starting on some caulking and the gunk on the outside of the shower doors is gross. Washer is incredibly nasty. If you like privacy, know that several doors do not lock. Neither the master bedroom or bathroom have a working lock. Our refrigerator wasn't working properly when we got there. The man who came to fix it left his drill. We left it lay on the counter. The next day when we got home it was gone. So they can come in and out as they please, without giving you a heads up. The manager I talked to said this is not ok and she would report it. Cookware is extremely limited. Old. Bring your own. There was not any pil or salt/pepper so make sureto bring that. No ice from the icemaker either, it is not hooked up. The counters are grimey. it is flooring, just on the counter. It is very worn and hrd to clean in between the pieces. There are multiple rat traps under the sinks. They were not set, but I am sure they are there for a reason. We did not see any rats inside at all but the front door has no seal around it so they could probably waltz in if they wanted to. As a matter of fact there is even a folded white piece of paper to keep the metal piece out enough for the latch to latch properly. I hope this review has them take a look at a lot of issues and hopefully your stay is better than ours!

We really enjoyed the room & beauty of the cabin. We used the hot tub in the morning and evening it was great! We also made use of the community pool and view at the pool which was spectacular! Old reviews discussed issues with the stove top, but it must have been replaced because it looks new & we cooked on it daily. Overall the experience was great and we loved our stay at Natural Retreat’s cabin!
