This property is owned by Tom & Suzy Warren and managed with the help of on-site and off-site support staff 24/7. We love hosting interesting guests and want you to feel at home while you're here! Tom is a retired Chiropractor and Suzy is a retired teacher. After retirement Tom fulfilled a life-long dream when he led a 4,000 mile trans-continental expedition to retrace the footsteps and paddle strokes of the original Lewis & Clark Expedition. His team was the first to accomplish that feat since Lewis & Clark did it in 1804-06. Following that Tom traveled the US and Canada as a professional speaker. After three years of constant traveling, the road became tiresome and he retired again. In 1993 Suzy decided to start an Estate Sale company and she grew it to one of the largest in the mid-west. She managed that company for nearly 25 years then retired once again. In 1999, they bought Meadow Lake Ranch and began building it into Oklahoma's premier B&B, Dude Ranch, Wedding & Event Venues. As of this writing, Meadow Lake Ranch has hosted visitors from all 50 states and 43 foreign countries, including celebrity guests like Sir Paul McCartney. The ranch has hosted three movies, including the Sundance Award-Winning movie MINARI as well as several national commercials Suzy is a terrific mother to two perfect kids (one of each flavor) and Mimaw to seven amazing grands (six feisty boys and one terrific, 'rules the roost' little red-headed girl). Meadow Lake Ranch has blossomed into four conjoined businesses in one. It is a B&B, Dude Ranch, Wedding Venue and Event Center. The ranch is located on Route 66 just 15 minutes from downtown Tulsa making it easy to find for out-of-towners and convenient for local Tulsans. In September 2019 Tom received a Provisional Patent for his invention of a new agricultural product called Round Bale Saver which reduces hay waste from 25%-45% to less than 10%. Tom is actively establishing a dealer network and marketing and selling his new invention. We stay pretty busy, but still have plenty of time to share with guests.
