Andrew’s property is warm, clean and very spacious. It has a fully enclosed yard, which was very handy, and several parks nearby. It is relatively well equipped and provides a great base for visiting Leek and the surrounding area. We had a lovely stay 😊

Good location to town centre. House was well equipped. Door to downstairs toilet sticks as does the one in the front single bedroom and my Son got stuck in there for a while as the door wouldn't open. Water pressure for bath and shower is awful. Shower was scalding hot and takes forever to run just a couple of inches of water in the bath. Bath is a perculiar shape and is certainly not suitable for the elderly or infirm as getting in and out of the bath/shower was difficult. Sofas in front room are very low and have been well used and are very uncomfortable to sit on. We only stayed for a couple of days to attend a family wedding but sadly won't be returning to this property again as not suitable for my elderly parents or my Son who has mobility issues.

Comfortable stay with all amenities in walking distance. The house had everything you needed and very homely and doggy friendly. Parking was ok, majority of the time. Supermarket literally on the doorstep which was very handy. Would definitely go again.

The house was great and so nice to be able to take 4 dogs to stay. Had everything we needed and was close to both town and Brough Park which was perfect for letting the dogs have a quick run. I feel guests would benefit from more info re parking. On arrival, there were two parking spaces available outside the property. We parked one of our cars immediately outside and left the second space for the property next door. My brother parked opposite and unfortunately woke to a parking ticket due to parking on a dropped curb, we subsequently found plenty of parking round the corner and had he known about this he wouldn’t have squeezed it on the pavement. We came home for the second night to find the space outside our property also filled. Leading to both cars being parked round the corner. Perhaps some info in the guest info book to advise alternative parking could be considered. We certainly wouldn’t let this stop us staying again, but will know for future reference.

Very good location for a weekend of walking in the Peak District.
