Absolutely stunning! The cottage was perfect for a weekend break. Had everything we needed and the hot tub was excellent after our hikes exploring the local area. Managed to find a 9 mile route that was safe and easy to follow on Komoot. The dogs loved it too. Stopped in at The Shears Inn afterwards which we highly recommend for both food and drinks. Extremely dog friendly. Everything was beautiful and we will definitely be back.

Lorraine and Baz were absolutely fantastic hosts, helping to make my partners 30th birthday one we’ll never forget! They were kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. My personal highlights were snuggling by the fire, soaking in the hot tub and playing scrabble. Plenty of walks for doggies around too, and some very helpful walking books provided alongside pub and restaurant recommendations so that you can make the most of your stay.

Beautiful little cottage. It was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately we had terrible weather so we couldnt do all the dog walks we wanted. Definitely recommend this cottage. Barleycorn Pub was 10 minute walk lovely pub food and very friendly.
