i reserved a private room well in advance of needing to check in on 09 Dec 23 the Host informed me the evening before check in (08 Dec 23) there was a system error and that the private room i reserved wasn't actually available and asked me to cancel the reservation (despite their stated no-refund policy for cancelation) i refused to do this as i would not be refunded all of what i paid and told the host to conduct the cancellation process themselves with airbnb as this problem was on their end the host did not cancel the reservation and i did not check in I also contacted airbnb support to expidite the process... 11 Dec 23 airbnb support cancalled and refunded the reservation

I enjoyed my stay. I WAS ABLE TO REST AND RECHARGE!! Place was nice looking and clean!

First the guest that were there were messy the sheets and pillows had black stains on them there was roaches all over the kitchen because the current residents that also had a room there didn’t clean up after them selves in the kitchen. The only thing that was decently clean was the living room and bathroom everywhere else the house was nasty there was dead roaches on the walls

I needed a place last minute as a previous host had canceled, and this worked out perfectly. Check in was easy, and there was plenty of street parking. I was initially a bit concerned, as there is also a dorm hostel in the same house, but this was no problem at all; I had a separate bathroom shared with one other private room, and everybody in the hostel (which was not full) was so quiet that I hardly knew anyone else was there. One of the hostel guests even helped me carry my stuff in.
