Kate is a fantastic host! Her place is exactly as described- comfortable, clean, inviting, and safe. The neighborhood was quiet, and just a short walk from the main town where there are plenty of great restaurants and shops. I was in town for a trade show at the Expo Center and this was a perfect place to stay- a short Uber ride away from the Center. The house itself is a beautiful and inviting place. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Kate made the whole process very easy and seamless- from check in, through the stay, and through check out, she was communicative and kind. She had great recommendations for things to do in the area and helped me feel right at home. I hope I have the opportunity to stay in Kate’s home the next time I’m in town. I highly recommend!
Katie was awesome host! we were in town for billiards pool tournament that ran super late and super longer than we thought. Katie was extremely quick with responding and flexible so we were able to add an extra night on. getting in really late did make parking difficult and we were unclear if the parking was past/ behind or In front of the handicapped sign. a neighbor was super helpful when we picked the wrong side of the sign. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! a great stay. hopefully we will compete in the tournament again next year and be back to stay again.
Kate's place was a wonderful stay. Her preparedness for my arrival made me feel very welcome indeed. She showed me up to my room; an immaculately made bed, with towels and artisan soap, and in the bathroom there was a shelf waiting just for me and my toiletries. The evening I arrived, Kate went the extra mile to make sure I was settled in and felt prepared for my coming week (I was staying to attend the Living Mandala Yoga immersion.) The #1 Living Mandala crash pad is clean, and thoughtfully designed. In my bedroom were a selection of wonderful books that complimented my studies well. Best of all, if you are intending to stay with Kate to attend Yoga Immersion, she's completed the program as well and so has an understanding of what you're immersed in. She provides a great container for this time. A cocoon of a bed, a bookshelf of mental goodies, and a quiet respectful home-space to root, rest, reflect. It was just what I needed, and even beyond what I anticipated I would need. I slept well all through the night for the 10 nights I was there. The water pressure in the shower is just a treat. My stay took place in mid-October, and the temperature in the home was always just right; cozy-warm, not hot, not cold at all. Thank you Kate, for providing this space!
Thank you, Kate! I sooooo loved your place! The historic QUIET location! the BED! the comfy homey atmosphere and extras which turned out I reeeeally needed in a pinch, such as the bars and bananas! Along with this is the fact you were available and very kind in physically showing me how to get around and pointing me to the best restaurants. I was in an intensive training so I felt secure in knowing I could call on you for any issues, which there were a LOT! Thank you for your understanding and kindness. I also appreciate how you gave us the space we needed. I WILL indeed be looking to return for my other trainings. Thank you! Kathleen
