The Rusty Spurs Ranch is such a hidden gem! Don and his crew were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was 105 degrees and our friend needed a cabin very last minute to stay out of the heat and he made it happen for her asap. Our cabin was meticulously clean, including the bathroom. It was furnished and decorated nicely, and the A/C was a lifesaver! He left out some toys for our son and made the shared amenities (ping pong, lawn games, etc) accessible for us. Wheeled us over one of their rolling propane grills, and even offered to start us our own little fire for smores at night. We are already figuring out when we can come back, especially with a group of friends/family to take over all the cabins and have our own little compound! Thank you so much Don! What a lovely getaway for our family!

Peaceful and picturesque location. Natural shade, wildlife, lovely cabin with well equipped mini-kitchen. Tasteful interior. Squeaky clean. Extra towels. Don is a people person and has the perfect personality to run Rusty Spurs Ranch. The place is well kept with love for details. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peaceful area. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nothing was communicated with us on what should be done at arrival, fridge needed to be turned on, water needed to be ran for a bit to get air bubbles out of pipes, where trash should be taken to, where they’d like used towels or blankets to be put. Stove top didn’t work at all even after messaging owner, and waiting an hour for a reply and doing all the steps listed still did not work, no way to cook dinner. App said there was wifi, not a huge deal not having it but came expecting it and could not find anywhere that had the WiFi. Overall and beautiful place but was disappointed regardless.

I was really excited about my trip with my husband and two young daughters to this farm for a long weekend. The farm is great for kids with fun activities. Our stay turned from great to a complete disaster in a matter of minutes. Don mistakenly accused us of wrongdoing and from that point his demeaner changed from welcoming to very aggressive- All that in front of the kids. He completely made up a whole story in his head without stopping and thinking that he might be mistaken. After this scary encounter and explicitly being told that I'm never welcome on the property, I felt unsafe and fled with my family after only one night. I really wish our trip would have looked differently and hope you don't land on the homeowner's bad side.
