Appart sympa, vue sur le Mont-blanc, déco un peu ancienne, hyper bien placé, Chamonix Sud, supermarché Spar à côté, parfait pour un séjour sportif à Chamonix

Het is een appartement wat qua ligging en uitzicht perfect is. Het zit achter de kabelbaan van Aiguille du Midi. Alles op loopafstand: bussen, trein, winkels en restaurants! Appartement zelf is alleen gedateerd en nodig aan vernieuwing toe. We waren geschrokken door de recensies en dus voorbereid op het ergste. Het was minder erg dan verwacht. Ontvangst bij receptie was vriendelijk, werd ook snel gereageerd bij vragen. Maar het heeft wel muffige vloerbedekking, douche in bad zonder stang om opgehangen te worden, dubieuze vlekken of afgebladderde muren in de badkamer. Het is er ook erg klein, dus voor een gezin te doen, maar met allemaal volwassenen niet echt. Hou er rekening mee dat je (1) niet bij het appartement kunt parkeren dus haal eerst de sleutel op en zet je spullen af voordat je parkeert (2) je zelf je handdoeken en beddengoed meeneemt of ervoor betaalt. We komen zeker terug naar Chamonix naar alleen naar het appartement als het vernieuwd is.

Just under 1km walk to get check in key each way. (then 1k walk each way to return key) At check in, a late check in code was not provided even though I said I was checking in late. We had to wait 1 hour in the rain to check in. Sheets and towels were not provided. Only 1 roll of toilet paper provided. Internet is not provided. We could not find the TV remote. The condo is located in a good area with a nice view of the mountains. The condo has note been updated in 30+ years. The kitchen table was sticky and had drink outlines from not being wiped down. I am writing this review from a different Airbnb in the same city and it is much better.

Everything was great, only annoying thing was that we had to pick up and drop off the key and (heavy!) sheets from the other side of town.
