So this is a nice place to relax. The views of the sunset are great. The place itself is nice, a lot like my cabin in South Dakota, so for us it was great. It’s not fancy but less fancy has its benefits. It is nice, however. The road in is pure Texas back country and will freak you out the 1st time, but not in a bad way, in a pioneer explorer kinda way. If you have kids they’d love it. We anchored our boat right out front for a few days but it’s shallow so if you have a deep-v type boat you might have to wade through a couple feet of water. But owning a boat you do that anyway if you’re living at all. So that was really nice although it makes it convenient to be more busy than you had planned, every vacationers curse. The kitchen amenities were fine, the bathroom was fine, it was all and all a nice place to stay. We were there for a week and kinda sad to leave the place. You will not have data on your devices and you’ll be surprised how much you like it. I have sprint and could text and call, which was a shame. My daughter has another provider and had no service at all, which was nice. The town of Graham is close, maybe 15ish miles, and it has everything, Walmart, many restaurants, all kinds of stuff, so it’s not like you’re a hundred miles from society if you want it, which you won’t. I’d recommend the place. The host Heidi is a great communicator but on the other hand, when you’re a guy like me that doesn’t want to communicate, she’s good at that, too, which was one of the nice parts Heidi probably didn’t even know she was doing, but I appreciated it, just being able to be and not be disturbed. Clean up after yourself, it’s a little home and not like a hotel that you trash and run. This was my 1st bnb type deal and I dug it a lot. No more expensive than a hotel, but a lot more like home.

The place was nice and we had an enjoyable stay. However, I would not stay again. The management threatened me not to leave a negative review in there first message to me. This set a negative tone just from the start. This platform is based on open feed back and hope they remove this with future guests.

This place is a great place to be when you want to perfectly unplug from everything electronic. This includes your phone, your laptop, and everything that is connected if you are from the city. Note there is no service at all unless you have Verizon. But Heidi was great enough to supply you with old popular DVD and VHS movies. You can jam out with the radio and speaker system both outside and inside. If you are thinking of going also note that the nearest Walmart for us is 30 minutes away. So take note to buy the food you need before you go. There is already utensils in the house so don’t buy plastic spoons and paper towels because we we made that mistake. Make sure you also talk to the neighbors because they are nice enough to borrow the pier so talk to them before you actually use it. We were lucky enough for one of the neighbor to be swimming at the same time as us so we asked them then. But overall experience it was the perfect place to stay.

Great location and communication. Precise directions from Heidi make sure you get to the right place. The house is right on the lake and the kids loved swimming right outside while we cooled off inside watching them from inside. Nice tree to tie a boat off to for a few hour lunch break and then jump right back on the water. We are already planning our trip for next summer. Thanks Heidi!!
