Jessica and Walter has been really great hosts. They were super friendly and offered their help in many situations. Thank you for your great hospitality. We had the 1-room-apartment at the front of the house, where we and the other guests from the other apartments could park the cars. We recommend strongly to rent a car, you will need it for the drives to the different beaches, to town or to the supermarkets. There's is nothing in walking distance. If you want to go to the beaches in the west (which we definitely recommend, if you also want to experience more than "just" the Beach Resort feeling) you have to take longer drives into consideration... To Cas Abao for example it's around 50 - 60 min, Grote Knip (60 - 70 min), Playa Grandi (snorkeling with sea turtles, also 60min). But it's really worth it. The tourist hot spots like Mambo Beach (15min drive) and Jan Thiel Beach (10 min drive) are closer. The apartment was very clean and had a modern bathroom and a small modern kitchen. It was more like a single room with an built-in kitchen and a bathroom. There was a door in the bathroom which is connecting the owners kitchen to the bathroom, but no worries the door is always locked. At times you just hear that there's something going on in the kitchen next door and probably that applies for the other side aswell. For us it was totally okay, for people who want to have a more private atmosphere like an apartment on their own this place probably wouldn't meet the expectations. For 2 people with 2 suitcases it can be a little tricky to unpack the clothes and store them anywhere in the room since there are no shelves or closets. Since we stayed outside the most of our time it didn't bother us at all. The pool area and the house bar is a really nice spot to hang out and relax if you want to stay at the house. The area is kept private for the guests of the different apartments. Thanks again to Jessica and Walter for having us and the super friendly hospitality! Wij gingen voor een eerste keer naar een airbnb. Wisten niet wat we konden verwachten, maar alles wat we gehoopt hadden is zeker uitgekomen. Een super locatie, een super appartement, super zwembad, heerlijke koffie en nog veel meer. Bovenal Walter, Jessica en Mila zijn schatten en laten je echt een supervakantie hebben door goede tips te geven over restaurants en strandjes ⛱ Ons is het zo goed bevallen dat we hebben besloten om volgend jaar gewoon weer terug te komen.
