Amanda's place is so quaint and is conveniently located near several area attractions: Weir's Beach, Fun Spot Arcade, Ellacoya State Park, Gunstock Mountain just to name a few! If you like fishing but don't have a boat, check out the Lily Pond next to the Laconia airport just down the road. We caught fish while the planes flew right over us! Amanda's place is perfectly suited for a family with kids. We went all over Lake Winnipesaukee during our stay. You can get just about anywhere in about a 45 minute drive. Our kids loved the pool and tennis courts at Amanda's complex, and we all fought over the daybed on her front porch. Great use of the space!

We spent the month of January in Amanda’s condo. We both worked from home during the weeks and enjoyed our stay. *Long review alert* I’ll start with the really great things. The photos are pretty true to the space and there is a lot of natural light with all the 3 big slider doors! The space is very functional and in a really great location whether you’re heading to the beach or to ski. I bet this place is incredible when it's warm with its outdoor spaces. A few unexpected small details we appreciated: - All of the drawers, cabinets, and toilet seats were soft close (so nice!) - Every room has its own heating zone and cooling system. - The lights in the kitchen, dining, and living room are dimmable. - The beds are super comfy and all felt like memory foam (even the bunk beds!) - The wifi was great, my husband and I worked from home the whole time with both of us regularly on video calls simultaneously and never had an issue. - The kitchen was very well stocked, in addition to the normal things you expect there was an airfryer, tons of tupperware and cleaning supplies, big cuisinart dutch oven, and both a keurig and drip coffee maker. - Not applicable for us, but there were a ton of kids toys, coloring books, games, food utensils, etc. that would make it easy to bring a kid here. A few things that were unfortunately below expectations: the condo was not clean when we arrived. Everything from the floors, to the dishes, toilets, tables, carpets (the list goes on) needed a deep clean. We alerted Amanda right away and she was very apologetic and offered us a partial refund (2.5x the cleaning fee) for the inconvenience. There were many “junk drawers” and personal items throughout the house in various drawers and closets, the fridge was full, there was a cabinet filled with food, and lots of alcohol left behind. We were told no one had been in the house for months. These things coupled with the cleanliness really made it feel like we had walked into a friend’s house to stay for the weekend rather than an airbnb for a month. Two kitchen things are also worth noting: the microwave did not work, there was an issue with the sensor. There also were no cooking knives, just regular knives for eating. We don’t use the microwave much and brought our own knife since it was an extended stay so we didn’t mention until after our stay and they might be fixed, but it’s worth asking about.
