Place was nice, great location. Loved the deck & view even though we didn’t get to enjoy it because it was cold & sprinkly. Place was kinda bare, no xtras, no coffee, not a lot of serve-ware. Limited comfortable seating inside, but we knew that ahead of time. Overall a very nice place!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our trip! Kat and family were great! Super friendly and responsive. My boys loved playing with her kids in the yard when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, the place was well stocked and very clean. The view of the sunset from the deck was amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great 2 night stay at Kat’s place as our home base for visiting Legoland and the San Diego Zoo. Great view from the balcony and just 4 min away from the cute Carlsbad village shops. The unit was clean and had the basics, matched the price you are paying for. If you are looking to be completed secluded away from your host then this is the not the place for you since this unit is actually the second story of the owner’s home. We knew that and it was fine for us since we were out and about all day.
