Our Secret Garden Cottage is unique because although it’s within walking distance to downtown & a bike ride from the beach, it’s very private with lush tropical gardens.
The cottage adjoins the two story main house that was built in 1925. The main house (a 2bd/1bath) is listed on airbnb. So some times you will have the property to yourself and sometimes not.
You will find the kitchen is equipped with every thing you would need to fix a gourmet meal, however there are many takeout/delivery options.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with high quality lines and a smart tv. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa, smart tv and the dining table sits four and the bar has two bar stools. The bathroom has a large shower and high quality towels.
The property is fenced in for privacy, security and pet friendly. There is parking at your front door inside the fence and there is also free street parking.
Although you have your own patio at your front door there are other patios that are shared as well as the laundry room.
There’s lots of beach stuff and two bikes that are shared. After a day at the beach there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water as well as a hose to wash every thing off. The beach towels are in the laundry room and there are hooks to hang wet towels etc. Lake Worth Beach is one of the best beaches in Florida.
We have a full time maintenance man so you never have to worry about a slow response to get something fixed. He also maintains the gardens, walkways and takes the trash to the street and brings it in.
We are across the street from Dunkin’ Donuts and not far from Starbucks if you want to grab a coffee on the go. Also, Walgreens, Checkers and a gas station are across the street.
With-in walking distance (or bike-ride) are many restaurants, live music, night life, library, Post Office, UPS, banks and even the Zoo gym. Downtown has plenty of free parking!

A car is recommended. We have private parking inside the fenced in property. There is also free street parking. We are very close to the tri rail, bright line train, and a public bus service.
