Had a great stay. Edith's home was comfortable for our family with girls, 7,4 and 1. Market up street was convenient with friendly locals and parks for girls were close.

Edith's place is a cozy cute cottage. We really enjoyed it and felt comfortable in her home. She even had kids toys, which my son loved. And, Edith is a great host and replies quickly to messages, even while on vacation. Would definitely recommend.

The home is in a very safe location and felt very secure with the property gated and locked at all times. The host provides a huge amount of information about the home and the area, with lots of recommendations. She was very responsive and communicative. Our only suggestions would be to bring your own fans if you need air movement at night, as most of the windows are not screened and there is only one unworking ceiling fan in the house. This is also not a place to stay if you are a large person (especially one that wants to stay in and watch tv/movies) as the furniture is definitely for small people and there are only 2 small TVs in the house. This is not a problem if you plan to spend your time away or outdoors. :) Also, one of the bedrooms has no overhead lighting and is very difficult to be in, or see, if you need to at night. The bathrooms are both BEAUTIFULLY redone and comfortable!

Edith’s home is a little piece of serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of Richmond. It was lovely to walk to the park nearby and the neighborhood market is conveniently located only a block away. Our baby loved the yard and we spent most of our time outside.
