I stayed at Shari’s Zen Retreat with a friend because of how close it is to Fleming College. It was completely perfect and we will definitely stay again if we’re planning on visiting this side of Peterborough. The room itself was extremely cosy and relaxing, totally clean, and had everything we could’ve needed. We especially loved meeting Oscar, the German Shepherd. He was an extremely sweet, lovable giant and we won his love with a little chicken and some tennis balls. We will miss him, and wish him the best of luck guarding the house by running around the garden looking at the trees for squirrels. <3 Shari was a very accommodating and helpful host, allowing us to have a late check-out as my flight was late in the evening. Thank you once again for everything, we had a great stay! :)

It’s a nice and quiet suite to live for a while. Shari is a friendly and responsive host, and her dog Oscar lights up the whole experience.

Shari truly exceeded our expectations as a host during our stay. Her BnB not only boasted a charming and cozy atmosphere, but it also provided a remarkable sense of being at home. From the thoughtfully designed decor to the expansive wrap around windows that allowed ample natural light to fill the space, to the Zen garden, and every detail that contributed to a delightful stay. What truly touched our hearts was Shari's incredible dedication to ensuring our comfort, especially considering my wife's condition of vascular dementia. Shari went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making our experience truly exceptional. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Peterborough, Ontario. Thank you Shari.
