Laurel Ridge had the charm of past elegance. The rooms where well appointed with linens and plenty of space. Antiques everywhere took you to an experience of the past yet modern amenities. All bathrooms were well stocked with everything you need. A coffee/ refrigerator cabinet in the centrally located gathering room made morning coffee and drinks easy. We played games for awhile before bed. 2 balconies gave you views of sweet Gonzales... especially if you like to entertain or just people watch. And if you are looking for an antique style gift shop, Laurel Ridge Antiques on the first floor has those special gifts not found elsewhere. From antique furniture, to estate jewelry, Christmas, soaps and so much more. Access in and out of the house was easy and worked well. Just enough parking well off the street. Thank You Barbara for sharing you beautiful family home with us. Truly a great memory! We will be back if you'll have us!

Barbara and Candice made us feel welcome the moment we arrived at the Inn at Laurel Ridge, they truly made us feel like family! This historic home is amazing! The second floor was so accommodating. The bedrooms were absolutely charming and spacious. We enjoyed relaxing and enjoying good conversations on the patio over the driveway as well as the veranda. We are looking forward to our next stay!

I only have one complaint- the thin, rough toilet paper (I'm used to Charmin). But we loved our night at this location! Everything was beautiful- the building, furnishings, linens, stained glass, tile work, mirrors, balcony, fireplaces, claw-footed tub, and more. It was incredible to have 6 of us maker friends stay in one location, with a common space. We got to sit around a table for charcuterie, wine, champagne, deep conversations, and lots of laughter. And then get to retreat to our pretty rooms for rest. I appreciate the waters and access to ice. Plus other little details. And the warm welcome. Would definitely stay here again!
