Island of Krk is the largest island in Croatia, and as such the only one connected to the mainland with a bridge, so there's no need to use the ferry. It's most commonly reachable by the car, but there's also an airport on the island. You enjoy good wines? Autochthonous and delicious local wine 'Zlahtina' which grows in the nearby fields in Vrbnik is your first stop, just 5 km away. You're an epicurean? We'll make sure to direct you to all the local restaurants, so you can enjoy the taste of healthy Mediterranean cuisine, including tasty oil of Krk's olives, delicious wine and the rest of local specialties. You're an adventurous type? Swimming, diving, cycling, windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding. All available around the island in the towns like Njivice, Malinska, Punat, Baska.
