This was one of the most beautiful places that I have stayed at. Unbelievable location right on ocean, terrific inside and out, fully stocked kitchen, outside amenities and pool! Was sorry to leave. Would rent this in a heartbeat again. Thank you Philip and Hettie for letting us stay at your wonderful villa. Al and Deb Weimer

On arriving at the villa we were even more pleasantly delighted by everything. The outside space is large giving us and our (teenage) children room to roam and entertain themselves. The pool is spectacular, and the views are out of this world. The villa inside is very spacious and extremely well equipped. It’s very private and peaceful and just perfect for our family holiday. Phillip was very helpful on email and made the stay simple and easy. The villa is situated between Poros and Skala giving you lots of restaurant options. Highly recommend this villa and would love to go back.

We stayed as a family of 6 for a week in Phillips villa and made some lovely memories. The villa itself upon arrival is simply too much to take in - it’s beautiful and the view is unlike any other I have ever seen or ever think I will see. We were very lucky to have called it ours for a week. The house is every well equipped, the detail of what we might need down to a tee, enhanced with personal touches such as some snacks and fridge items upon arrival. We had no issues apart from needing the bbq light replaced which was promptly sorted by Phillips friendly father - it was a pleasure meeting and talking to them both. Couldn’t ask for better communication pre and during :) Poros was our favourite nearby town - we would recommend Agrapada restaurant (a lovely view of the bay and traditional food), George’s boat hire for a great day at sea and Solomos meat market for a great butchers. We didn’t spend a lot of time in Scala but enjoyed Nautilus seafood resultant and Ammos beach bar!

Villa Alkionis is an incredibly peaceful and stunningly located house. From the moment Phillip greeted us upon our arrival (all very tired from an early flight) we knew we had made the right choice for our holiday. We have enjoyed villa holidays for many years, and getting it 'right' is so important to ensure a relaxing break. The view is stunning, even better than the photos - we felt like we were on a ship! The villa is spacious and we had everything and more to ensure a wonderful stay. The chess, table tennis and darts were fun activities, plus extensive sunny terraces, shaded areas, ample sun-beds, chairs and a hammock for our lazy days spent watching the boats beyond. We loved our morning scramble down the rocks to the sea, make sure you have water shoes. It was good for our fitness getting back up! Although you can't walk to restaurants from the villa, Skala is just 10 mins by car in one direction and Poros slightly further. We will return!

We’ve had a wonderful two weeks at Philips Villa. The Villa itself was spacious, clean with plenty of things to do and see. The views of the ocean was stunning. Philip was always there if needed and answered any questions we had. Any time he came round to the villa to water the gardens or clean the pool he’d always let you know. Many thanks for a wonderful, relaxing holiday.
