Fantastic. I loved the light from the skylights. The place really had a lot of nice amenities. If you forgot your toothbrush, they’ve got one. If you like coffee or tea, there’s a multitude of options. Highly recommended.
Beautiful studio in a beautiful house. The sunroom is a fabulous spot to sit and read your book haul from Powell’s (which is an easy tram ride from the the apartment). Great walkable neighborhood with gorgeous craftsmen homes, tasty cafes and restaurants, and lovely parks. Scott was a fantastic host!
Scott’s place far surpassed any others I have ever stayed at. it was not only a beautiful space, but well decorated,with windows that looked out on blooming trees,hard wood floors,skylights,vaulted ceilings,a fully equipped kitchen,a lovely bathroom with black and white honey comb tiles,and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in yet!i also love that Scott has a comforter on the bed, since i typically bring mine from home and was pleased to find I didn’t need to.Scott goes beyond being a super host with all the treats he leaves,including robes, and bicycles you can use.how cool is that! I also loved that Scott had actual clocks in the studio(it drives me crazy that no one has clocks any more!),tissues boxes(so important for those of us with allergies),recycle,and compost.this was all astounding and pleasing to me. If I could rate this ten stars I would!
Scott and his space were lovely. The space was well appointed, clean and he had some very nice special touches. He explained everything and gave wonderful recommendations. Very happy to stay again.
This is a stunningly beautiful space. Every detail to accommodate your stay is thoughtfully provided, above and beyond expectations. Exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful lighting and design in every area, well stocked kitchen, top of the line washer and dryer, great bathroom. I can't say enough. A small deck with bicycles available, a beautiful entry with windows overlooking the neighborhood and a comfy couch with I used to read my book while drinking my morning coffee, or just watching the occasional neighbors walking their dogs, pushing kids in strollers, jogging, etc. The windows are 100% soundproof. The tv has Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. anything you like. The kitchen will accommodate any type of coffee prep you prefer, or cooking/food prep you want. The table is in it's own area with a view of the street and sky. The studio is on the second floor, so offers a nice view and privacy. Scott is available, but not at all intrusive. It feels like you are in your own home!

That's my partner and myself and our two kids. The youngest one is living on his own in Portland and the oldest is living in San Diego. We have lived in New York City then San Francisco and finally Portland, OR and love the city and love our neighborhood. We are both very active (running, hiking, etc). If you are visiting Portland for the first time, try to fit in a visit to the Gorge. It's beautiful and only 30-40 minutes away.
