Andrea’s place was spectacular. Upon arriving at the train station he arranged for his mother to give us a ride to the apartment which was greatly appreciated due to our large luggage from traveling for 3 months and the hills needed to climb to get there. His mother was so kind and showed us everything around the apartment even though we didn’t speak italian nor her english we were easily able to understand each other. The place is tucked away in a quiet part of centro historico and the balcony on the top floor has a beautiful view of the mountain. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need and we were able to do laundry which was a huge plus for us. The space is cozy and perfect for two people, thoughtfully decorated, everything seemed very new and worked properly. There is also a multitude of information provided about the town and different activities to book. We were also very impressed with the water pressure in the shower it is amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Superbe house in Scilla. Extremely clean & comfortable & had everything we needed, even a beach umbrella which was so useful. Great location in walking distance to everything with a lift to the beach if it gets too tiring. Very cute house with lovely outlook but stairs are steep so no good for people with limited mobility. Andrea’s parents picked us up from the station and showed us everything which was so helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Wir hatten tolle Tage in Scilla. Andreas Eltern haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und das Haus hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Danke für alles :)

I will recommend this to anyone and give it maximum rating! Andrea thought of everything and we felt so at home in the house. It’s little things that make all the difference. Andreas parents greeted us when we arrived. Despite the language barrier we made it work. They had bought us fresh fruit and left a bottle of water in the fridge. There was coffee in the drawer and some basic spices and stuff - even little shampoos for the shower - so nice. It is very nicely decorated and cosy. Despite it being in an alley it seems very bright, colorful and cosy. We have stayed in quite a few Italian airbnbs and a lot of them are quite dark with dark furniture. This was not like that. This was bright with light colors. The balcony on the top floor is a lovely spot for a morning coffee in the sun. It is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and the castle. We loved it and will book again if we are ever in the area again. Highest recommendations!
