A lovely quiet spot at a very good cost. The beach is at a 10 min walk. We had the morning coffee on the house, a good coffee too. The wood caban was ok at night (you have mosquito nets at windows and door) but during the midday it was way too hot to stay in and during the windy weather /storm, you could hear the branches banging on the roof. All in all, we liked it and would come back any time we go to Vama Veche.

I was provided with everything i needed and my host seemed a genuine nice person. The location is excelent if you want peace, with a handful of cats and not too far if you want to enjoy the night life

This place was exactly as advertised. Rooms were comfortable and well laid out. Vama was all within walking distance (10 mins or so). Gelu was very accommodating as we had to shorten our trip by a day and he was very willing to adapt. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a cost effective place to stay.

Sophia Camp was a great experience in Vama Veche, the place was peaceful, cozy and had everything you needed. Gelu and his wife were great hosts, they offered us they're full support if needed, and free coffee in the morning! The place is as described, the rooms are tidy and clean. The houses tend to get hot during the day, but if you are away during this time, it's ok, because in the evening the temperature gets back to the comfort zone. There is a big kitchen in the camp with all the supplies and equipment you need, very helpful for a family or a bigger group. Also the sofas and tables outside were wonderful, during the midday we had our 'siestas' on them, and then headed back to the beach. It's 5 minutes by foot to the beach, but it was really remote from all the buzz in Vama Veche, so we enjoyed it. Tanks a lot, we will definitely come again!
