Superbe cottage dans un grand domaine forestier. L'hébergement est plein de charme et parfaitement équipé pour accueillir des grands groupes. Plusieurs activités sur place et possibilité de voir la faune sauvage facilement dans la forêt attenante. L'équipe en charge du domaine est disponible et très arrangeante. Je recommande vivement.

My goodness, where to start with our month-long stay at la Petite Trigalière? The accommodation, which somehow manages to not make you feel swamped with space with just a handful of people, yet does not feel packed with a full complement of 8 adults and 10 kids, is absolutely bursting with character. My family and I came from the Middle East, and we needed some adaptive living space to accommodate the 12 or so families that visited us from the UK during our stay. Given the numbers involved (17 of us in our final week), we were fairly limited on our options; before booking, my wife and I decided that we would be happy with something fairly basic, but that could sleep, wash and cater for the numbers we had coming. In all honesty, la Petite Trigalière blew us away. The inside living space was comfortable, well-appointed and, well spacious. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen arrangements easily sufficed for our needs, and there was plenty of bathroom space to go around. Things got even better outside; there was loads of green space all around the cottage for the kids to run around safely, and the pool, 80 metres away, was a real hit. Access to the nearby woodland was easy and well thought out, with miles and miles of track crisscrossing the forest. At night, we would take full advantage of the sun loungers and a perfectly unadulterated night sky, and just lie there and take in the serenity of it all (I have learned more of the constellations than I ever knew before!). The hands-down favourite for us and our guests, though, was the lake. In all honesty, the photos do not do it justice. The scenery is simply stunning and the lake water eminently swimmable. You can kayak, paddle board, swim to the pontoon (we even found a way to get a picnic or two onto the lake), fish, bird watch (the red kites and herons are breathtaking), or just take its splendor in from the lakeside. Pablo, the keeper of the lake, deserves special mention. Nothing was too much trouble for the guy, and he ran an excellent bar-cum-ice cream shack that was a hit with kids and grown-ups alike. He was particularly proud that everything on offer came from within 30km of the estate. The owners have just started up a lakeside buffet on a Wednesday evening, again with everything (except the chickpeas on top of the houmous, apparently...!) being locally sourced. Again, everything was excellent; arriving from a fairly conservative Islamic country, I was particularly partial to the Hog Lumps (blimey, how I've missed pork!). With 15 unique, charming and variously sized properties on the Estate, these guys can accommodate myriad different group sizes, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are after serenity, relaxation and getting back to nature, whilst being hosted by a fantastic group of people, then look no further. We will certainly endeavour to make a return visit!

Un très beau cottage en pleine nature. lieu très ressourçant et idéal pour un groupe d'amis avec ou sans enfants. Nos hôtes se sont rendus très disponibles et arrangeants en adaptant un couchage supplémentaire notamment. communication parfaite. nous reviendrons volontiers !
