This house could not have been better for family ski trip. It’s in a stunning location, private but so easy to get to. 3 min drive to California lodge for easy access to the lifts. The home itself is so well stocked, comfortable, and beautiful. The sauna/hot tub pool are a huge bonus. The kitchen has more gadgets and tools than we have at home! :) The bedrooms are plentiful with really comfortable beds. Everyone had private spaces and bedrooms. This is an amazing home for a group/family getaway. I’d love to come back in the summer!

The Mackedie lodge exceeded our expectations. I have never stayed in a home with so many options of things to do. We were there for the biggest storm of the year so far and the driveway was plowed daily. There are honestly too many amazing things about this home to even put into words. To be able to get off the slopes and into a hot tub, pool, sauna and steam shower is beyond luxury. The movie theatre recliners are so comfortable you will definitely fall asleep if you sit there too long. Kitchen had more than enough space and cooking supplies for our group of 6 men. Every single bed was extremely comfortable. The bathrooms and showers are all spacious and perfectly laid out. This was definitely the trip of a lifetime and I truly hope to return. Lastly the Loh’s were VERY responsive. Any questions or concerns were immediately answered. Bonnie (the housekeeper) stopped by on the first night and made us feel at home. I would give this AirBnb more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you again.

Wow, what an amazing find. We literally never left for the village. This house had it all. Hot tub, sauna, heated pool, steam room, movie theater, fully stocked kitchen. The beds were all comfortable, Sylvia was super responsive. We walked to the lifts every morning and found it quite peaceful. 10/10 would recommend!

Decided to take a trip up to Tahoe for my daughter’s 1st birthday and it was well worth it! Sylvia’s home is right in the heart of South Lake Tahoe and a 4 minute drive from everything including the ski resort and groceries. However you will not need to leave the home as all the amenities included will keep you and your family busy. We had a great time staying here and I would consider Sylvia’s home my first option whenever I plan to visit Lake Tahoe again. Bonnie, the housekeeper is a sweetheart as well, she came and checked in on us the first night and left me her contact info so I could reach her for any of our needs, and she was very responsive. Thank you for allowing my family into your beautiful home, I hope we are able to book with you again in the future! Happy holidays!
