This was our family's 4th stay at Kokanee Lodge and that probably says it all. It's a lovely house in a quiet setting conveniently located near China Peak ski resort and Huntington Lake. Jill is always helpful and responsive. The house is well stocked and we enjoy the roomy kitchen, the rustic wood burning fireplace and the large windows where we can watch the snow fall or admire the surrounding trees. If you cook a lot, you will probably want to bring food storage containers for leftovers though there has been a generous supply of aluminum foil and plastic wrap. If you will be using the fireplace alot, I recommend you pick up wood at Shaver Lake on the way up to Huntington Lake/Lakeshore area. The heating system works well though, so the fires are just for atmosphere.

Lovely home, nestled in the woods. We stayed during the winter and enjoyed our time in and out of the house. We cooked every night, the fridge was clean, the stove and oven worked great and the hot water was plentiful. That’s important when you have numerous guests wanting to shower all at the same time. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. Had it been summer the home sits directly across from Huntington lake it’s the perfect spot. The neighbors were all friendly and pleasant. We would stay again if we come back for the winter. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Fantastic house, great host, wonderful neighborhood.
