Lugar muy bien ubicado.
I initially had no idea with regard to the location when I was booking. I am glad I booked here as it was not as busy as the Old Town and quieter, but we could get to the Old Town with just a 15 minute walk. There were lots of convenient places to eat, and of course the surf beach is about a 5 minute walk. The apartment is well presented, clean, and has everything you need.I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was just as stated. Quiet area with great restaurants just outside the door. Also very walkable to old town and the wonderful restaurants and shopping there. It was also great to be so close to the beach.

Great location, bright and airy apartment in an amazing locals neighbourhood, great restaurants all in the same block. The kitchen was well appointed for making coffee in the morning and for the days you wanted a break from pintxos.

Gros neighborhood is a young surfing area whose Zurriola beach makes it a popular destination for surf lovers. In its streets, you can find different stores with materials to practice this sport and where you can breathe the culture of the sea and outdoor life.
From the beach towards the city center, you can appreciate the beauty of the Kursaal. This spectacular multifunctional space hosts different events, from concerts and exhibitions to conferences and meetings. This architectural structure with two glass cubes has a bar with a terrace and sea views.
The bridge over the Urumea River leads to Alameda del Boulevard. On your right hand, you will find the Old Town, full of bars and restaurants where you can discover the gastronomic culture and the best pintxos of San Sebastián. On your left hand, the city center is a vibrant area with local stores and businesses that offer different products and services. Far away, you can see the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd as the guardian of this part of the city.
