This little cottage made me feel very safe and cozy. Perfect size for solo traveling or traveling with a partner. Thoughtful amenities like coffee and snacks included.

when I first saw the listing, I thought it was perfect to get there and see that it was EXACTLY as described, I was so excited. it was a little on the warm side outside when we checked in, so to enter in to the cool, clean room was really appreciated. the place was small, but it had everything you needed including a list of recommended restaraunts and things to do which was incredibly helpful. the bed was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept on and so were the pillows, I honestly felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I liked that the Roku was on guest mode so I could log into everything and watch our own accounts. the basket of coffee and snacks came in handy too! after driving 3.5 hours I really appreciated the rice crispy treat! lol the host was incredibly helpful, kind and responsive as well. I really appreciated that. 5 stars all around! I hope to stay here again if we ever make our way back up here in the future. :)

We stayed on Cottage 3. It looked exactly like the pictures, small but cute. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, during a light rain. The cottage was less than a 20 minute drive to St. Joseph. There is a nice beach with a playground and the town has a variety of small shops and places to eat.

This was such a comfy, well laid out cottage and the air conditioner was amazing. Self check-in went smoothly. John-Ross and Cara left us great recommendations for eating and attractions in the area. Sandcastle cottages are perfectly set between two touristy areas – St Joseph/Benton Harbor and South Haven. Warren Dunes State Park is the perfect beach and sightseeing area for outdoorsy people. If we visit this area again we definitely would stay at the Sand Castle cottages…hopefully #3.

this was our family's 4th year in a row at Sand Castles and we find it delightful every time. John-Ross and Cara have always made sure we were happy with our stay. We'll be back again!
